Our quintessential country pub offers a range of delicious food created by our brigade of chefs.

We have vegan dishes, along with our ‘cygnets’ menu for younger diners, and a full ‘a la Carte’ menu with daily specials. Our renowned roasts are served until 19:00 on a Sunday.

We also offer interesting lighter bites, cakes and coffee.

If you’re planning a meal and would like something different from our main menu, please choose from one of the menus on offer below. With a price range to suit all tastes, we hope there will be something here that’s suitable. A pre-order is required with at least a week’s notice from booking please.

Soup of the day with chunky bread and garlic and chive croutons.

Panko Brie wedges, rocket salad and chilli jam

Salt and Pepper squid and garlic aioli

Pâté of the day, piccalilli, cornichon, and toasted sourdough

A traditional roast dinner with a choice of meats, roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and rich gravy.

Choose from beef topside, turkey crown or nut roast

Pan fried salmon fillet in lemon butter with new potatoes and salad.

 

Pudding

Triple chocolate brownie, chocolate sauce and double chocolate ice cream.

Baked Vanilla cheesecake, Chantilly cream and fresh berry compote.
